Safari Aitana

Safari Aitana is located high in the rugged Aitana mountain range, near the village of Sella. The Park covers an area of 1.5 millon square metres and is home to a wide range of magnificent wild life including elephants,llamas, giraffes, hippos, rhinos, buffalo, lions and tigers and more.

Visitors can follow a set trail around the park and visit Dacktari Park, a nursery area which raises new born animals.  The animals are able to roam freely around certain areas of the park and the best time to visit is between 11 am and 3 pm when the animals are being fed.  Guided tours are available on request..

To visit the Aitana Safari Park follow the AP7 towards Alicante. Take exit No 66, for Villajoyosa then take the road from Villajoyosa to Sella, passing through Orxeta. The park is about 15 km after Sella near the town of Penaguila. Open daily, Summer: 11 am - 7 pm. Winter: 11 am - 6 pm.
