 Mariblanca XVII Pool & Communal Area Rules

Pool and Garden Area 

  • The pool area is open from 08.00 until 22.00 daily unless closed for maintenance. 
  • A speed swimming session applies from 08.00 until 09.00 daily. 
  • The garden sprinkler system operates during the night, therefore, chairs, sun-beds, parasols etc. are not allowed to remain in the pool area. 
  • The only entry into the pool area is via the gates. The gates must be locked at all times for safety reasons. 
  • Shower before entering the pool. Only correct swim wear allowed, no ordinary t-shirts are allowed as their fibres clog the pool filters. All infants must wear proper swimming nappies if entering the pool. Any soiling of the pool must be reported immediately for health reasons, the cost of cleaning or maintenance to be paid by the owner responsible. 
  • Mariblanca XVII is a ball free zone, no ball games are allowed in the walkways or garden. 
  • Strictly Prohibited. Inflatables /body boards, frisbees, food, alcohol, smoking, glass or breakable sharp objects, rough play, barbecues, portable music players /radios (unless using headphones). 
  • Swimming aids. Only a small inflatable ring or arm bands is allowed. 
  • No children under the age of 8 years are allowed in the pool without adult supervision, parents or guardians are responsible for the safety of children at all times.

General Rules 

  • Mariblanca XVII is a gated community and all gates must be kept locked at all times.  
  • The night resting period for our community is from 24:00hrs until 08:00am. It is forbidden to make any disturbances during this time as noise travels easily through our dwellings. 
  • The communal walkways must be clear of any obstructions at all times.  
  • Owners are requested to keep their property and garden in a clean and tidy condition and to cut back any plants overhanging pavements and walkways. 
  • Pets are allowed on the urbanisation as long as they do not cause any disturbance to the neighbours. Dogs must be kept on leads and their owners are responsible for cleaning up after their animals. No animals allowed in the communal areas. 
  • The hanging of domestic washing, bedding etc. over terraces, garden walls or railings is not allowed. 
  • Please have consideration for your neighbours when using TV’s, radios and any other domestic apparatus during the daytime. 
  • It is the responsibility of owners and visitors to keep the garden and communal areas in a clean and tidy condition. 
  • Please notify the president or vice president of any address other than that of your property on Mariblanca XVII for correspondence purposes. If you sell your property provide the President with a forwarding address. It is the responsibility of owners to inform the president of the contact details of your key holder when absent i.e. if they have left the alarm to their house armed. 
  • Please do not flush nappies, hand/baby wipes, kitchen roll etc down the toilet. Please do not pour any fats or oils down the sink. This will help to avoid serious drain blockages in the future. 
  • Owners and visitors are entitled to speak to anyone who is not adhering to these rules. 
  • The installation of awnings is allowed but must be a combination of yellow and white stripes. 
  • Any alterations to your property must not extend beyond the building line. They must not interfere with existing views that your neighbours enjoy or restrict their sunlight. It is important to inform the president of any alterations for approval in the Annual General Assembly and Council Planning permission is mandatory.  

Renting 

The contract signed by the occupiers must include the community rules and the fact that they agree to abide by them. The key holder or manager of the rented property must familiarise the occupiers on arrival of the community rules and provide them with a copy. Owners are requested to display the rules in their property.  
Any visitor found contravening the rules will be warned and persons repeatedly breaking the rules will be asked to leave the urbanisation immediately. Failure to leave will result in the police being called.
